Some of the ear ailments we regularly treat are as follows:

  1.  Ear Wax Build-up: Earwax build-up is a common problem that develops when wax builds up in the ear canal and blocks it. Ear pain, difficulty hearing, and tinnitus are the symptoms. We use ear drops, irrigation, and/or suction to remove earwax during the treatment.

  1.  Ear Discharge: The release of fluid or pus from the ear is called ear discharge. Infections, trauma, and/or foreign objects in the ear canal can contribute to this. The treatment is decided depending on the underlying cause identified.

  1. Ear Pain: Infection, inflammation, damage, and fluid build-up in the ear are among the common causes of ear pain. The type of treatment depends on what is causing the discomfort.

  1. Ear Lobule Tear: Ear lobule tears are a condition wherein the earlobe tears due to trauma or injury or wearing of heavy earrings. Sutures are used to repair the damaged earlobe.

  1. Reduced Hearing: Age, exposure to loud sounds, infections, injuries, and genetic causes are among the factors causing hearing loss. Surgery and/or hearing aids may be prescribed as a treatment.

  1. Tinnitus: Tinnitus is a condition wherein the patient experiences a ringing, buzzing, or hissing sound that does not originate from the surroundings. The underlying reason determines the course of treatment.

  1. Vertigo: Vertigo is a feeling of light-headedness and/or perceived spinning of the surroundings. It may be brought on by issues with the inner ear, including benign paroxysmal positional vertigo and Meniere’s disease. The cause of vertigo determines the course of treatment.
