  1. Neck masses: Lumps in the neck can be caused by several reasons, including tumors, cysts, or swollen lymph nodes. Depending on the underlying reason, treatment options may include observation, medication, and/or surgery.
  1. Thyroid disorders: The thyroid gland can cause several symptoms, including neck pain, swelling, or a visible lump in the neck. A patient may get, surgery, or medication, depending on the problem being treated.
  1. Salivary gland disorders: The salivary glands are located in and around the neck. Infections or stones in the glands can cause pain, gland enlargement, and/or swallowing difficulties. Treatment options include the use of antibiotics and/or the removal of the affected gland.
